Researcher Profile
Chun Fung Yee, Florence is currently a second year doctoral student in Birkbeck, University of London. Her thesis title is “Cross-Cultural Communication among L1, LX and L0 speakers of Chinese”. Currently, she is the President of Birkbeck College Applied Linguistics Society (BCALS). She holds a M.A. in Linguistics from The University of Hong Kong (HKU) and a B.A. (Hons) in Linguistics and Multilingual Studies from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU). Before coming to London, she had 5 years of teaching experience teaching coding and the English language in different countries, and she has also worked as a specialist in curriculum design.
